Using iCalendar with MyVR

iCalendar, often referred to as iCal, is a standard internet calendar format that enables users to create and share electronic calendars across different programs.

MyVR can import events from other calendars to show the correct availability information on the MyVR website.

MyVR supports calendar imports from:

• Airbnb
• FlipKey
• Google Calendar
• Vrbo
• iCalendar (a generic format that works for most public calendars)
• VactionRentals.com

Mark the events imported from the calendar based off of personal preferences.

• Imported calendars that are marked as available will allow the property to be booked on that date.
• Imported calendars that are marked as tentative will show the property as having a tentative booking for that date.
• Imported calendars that are marked as reserved will not allow the property to be booked for that date.
• Imported calendars that are marked as unavailable will not allow the property to be booked for that date.
