Every time an inquiry is made on a property, the contact is added to a contact list within the MyVR account. A complete history of all interactions is stored and the range of features available makes contact management easy and thorough.
Navigate to Reporting > Views Contacts and select View Contacts. All contacts will be listed and users may view, search and edit specific contacts. Contacts will be automatically created from inquiries but may also be manually added by users. Use Search & Filters to filter out the contact type.
Managing contact details
To view contact details, click on the contact name. Details may be reviewed and revised as necessary.
Access the relevant tab to see all Inquiries and Reservations associated with the contact. Users may log additional information in the Notes tab. If there are photos associated with the contact they are stored under the Photos tab.
MyVR offers three methods to export contacts.
- Download contacts in a CSV file (generic file for most common spreadsheet apps -- Excel, Pages, etc.)
- Export contacts to MailChimp
- Export contacts to Constant Contact
To download or export contacts, go to Setup > API & Data Access > Manual Export and select Contacts from the left-hand menu
Click on Manage Application to install and connect to, or create, a MailChimp or Constant Contact account.
Things to know
Each contact within MyVR must have a unique email address. If a contact also needs an owner record, it will be necessary to use a unique email address for each record.
