NOTE:
- If a renter has entered a credit card for a booking, then all future payments can be deducted automatically from that card.
- Alternatively, an email notification will be sent to the renter at the time the next payment is due with a link to make payment.
Setting up automatic payments
Step 1: Navigate to Setup > Booking & Payments > Booking Policies
Step 2: Create new or edit existing booking policy
Step 3: Select Basic Settings, toggle Automatic Payment Processing to Yes
Step 4: Select Quote Defaults, toggle Online Payments to Yes, Click Save Changes
NOTE:
If Online Payment = Yes, Automatic Payment = No: email notification for payment reminder is sent with a link to make payment.
Change renter’s credit card for future automatic payments
Step 1: Navigate to Reservations > Reservations > [Select Reservation]
Step 2: Click Add Credit Card, enter details
Step 3: Click Action on future scheduled payment line, select Change Credit Card
NOTE:
If Step 3 is not completed, the original credit card will still be charged for future payments even if it is disabled in MyVR.
Disable future automatic payments
Step 1: Navigate to Reservations > Reservations > [Select Reservation]
Step 2: Click Action on future scheduled payment line, select Disable Automatic Collection
