Notifications sent to inquiry and reservation assignees are managed by MyVR's Notification Rules. MyVR supplies all accounts with two default notification rules for inquiry and reservation assignees. New notification rules may be established to send scenario-based notifications to others including, MyVR users, property owners or other customer recipients.
To edit notification rules:
- Log into MyVR
- On the left-hand navigation click on Setup
- Under Setup, click on Notifications
- Select Notification Rules
- Click on the rule to be edited
- Make necessary changes under each of the four sections:
- Basic settings
- Recipients
- Events
- Restrictions
- Click Save
To create a new notification rule:
- Log into MyVR
- On the left-hand navigation click on Setup
- Under Setup, click on Notifications
- Select Notification Rules
- Click the New Rule button
- Set up the new rule under each of the four sections:
- Basic settings
- Recipients
- Events
- Restrictions
- Click Save
Additional information
- Reservation assignees are notified of renter messages, stale reservation requests, reservation bookings, reservation cancellations, and overdue payments by default.
- Inquiry assignees are notified of new inquiries, renter messages, reservation requests, and reservation bookings by default.
