NOTE:
- Job automation rules are used for automating the creation of jobs based on events.
- If a reservation is cancelled, the associated job will be automatically cancelled.
- See Cleaners and Maintenance Overview for additional information.
Create Job Automation Rule
Step 1: Navigate to Operations > Cleaners & Mx > Automation > Rules
Step 2: Click New Automation
Step 3: Complete the required fields:
1. Create Job name
2. Select event trigger from dropdown menu.
NOTE: Event = Reservation booked, Reservation check in time, or Reservation check out time
3. Select Job template from dropdown menu of default and custom templates.
NOTE: See Creating Job Templates for more information.
4. Toggle Yes/No to create Job as draft
NOTE: Draft jobs require manual review to become an actionable job
5. Toggle Yes/No for Automation to be active
NOTE: Automation will only run and create Jobs if they are active
Step 4: Click Create Automation
NOTE:
- The new automation will appear in the list of job automation rules.
- If active, the automation will start creating jobs when the next trigger event happens.
Copy Job Automation Rule
Step 1: Navigate to Operations > Cleaners & Mx > Automation > Rules
Step 2: From the dropdown menu on an automation rule line, select Copy Automation
Step 3: Make changes as needed (See field details above)
Step 4: Click Save
