Things to Know
While the MyVR channel integrations are comprehensive, there are some restrictions imposed on us related to certain functionality (view our Channel Cheat Sheet to review any caveats). Reservation changes or cancellations are one of them.
To ensure that travelers aren't getting taken advantage of, many channels like to still own the reservation change or cancellation process entirely on their platform. This means a MyVR user would need to coordinate any changes or cancellations with the channels. Luckily, MyVR helps users navigate through this process.

What to Expect
For any reservation that comes from an integrated channel that does not allow changes or cancellations to occur on MyVR, the reservation will have a notification at the top of it. By clicking the View Details link, a user will also receive contact info or a hyperlink to make the change.

A changed reservation's details will sync from the channel back to MyVR.
Not all cancelled reservations will sync back to MyVR. In that case, you want to unlock the reservation and manually cancel it yourself to clear the calendar. Be sure to only do this once you know it was completely cancelled on the channel-side.
