NOTE:
- Multiple policies can be created, and are assigned on a property level.
- Booking and payment policies are centrally managed under Settings to allow for greater control and flexibility across properties.
Set booking policy for a property
Step 1: Navigate to Properties > Properties
Step 2: Click on the Property name line, or click Edit from the action dropdown menu
Step 3: Navigate to Settings >Booking & Payments
Step 4: From the dropdown menu, select Booking Policy, click Save Settings
Disable booking requests on a property level
Follow Steps 1-3 above
Step 4: Toggle “Disable Booking Requests” to Yes, click Save Settings
NOTE:
- The summary box at the top will indicate the Booking Requests setting on the property and the policy level.
- In this case, the booking policy to allow Booking Requests is overridden on the property level, by using the Disable button.
View or update booking policy
Follow steps 1-3 above
Step 4: click the Action dropdown menu, click View Current Booking Policy
Step 5: Click through the tabs to view booking policy details.
NOTE: Any edits made here will affect ALL properties with this booking setting.
Make a new property-specific booking policy
Follow steps 1-3 above
Step 4: Click the Action dropdown menu, click Create Booking Policy
Step 5: Update settings and defaults as needed, click Create Policy
Step 6: In the property’s Booking Policy dropdown menu, select new policy
Step 7: Click Save Settings
NOTE:
- Steps 6 and 7 must be completed to add the new booking policy to the property.
- The new booking policy will be saved under Setup > Booking & Payments > Booking Policies and can be used for other properties as needed.
