Get started with Stripe
- An existing Stripe account is not needed to start the activation process.
- If you already have an account, you will simply need to enter the account details following the process below.
- If you don’t already have an account, MyVR will link you directly to Stripe for account creation and instant approval.

Activate a Stripe account in MyVR
Step 1: Navigate to Setup > Booking & Payments > Merchant Accounts
Step 2: Click Add Stripe Account
Step 3: Create Stripe account name, click Connect Stripe
NOTE: This name is for internal reference, it does not need to match the Stripe account business name

Step 4: Follow steps in Stripe to connect to an existing account, or create a new account
NOTE: Contact Stripe Support directly with any questions
**Next step in MyVR platform**
Step 5: Confirm Activation
- Once the application is completed in Stripe, you will be automatically redirected back to MyVR.
- Status “Approved” and a green check mean that the account is active and ready to begin taking payments from renters through MyVR.
