NOTE:
- Job types are used to provide default settings to job templates, automated and manually created jobs.
- There are several pre-populated job types for common jobs associated with short term rental management.
- See Creating Job Types for more details.
Edit a Job Type
Step 1: Navigate to Operations > Cleaners & Mx > Automation > Job Types
Step 2: From the dropdown menu next to a job, select Edit Job Type
Step 3: Edit fields as needed
1. Change Job Type name
2. Change Job Type classification from the dropdown menu
3. Change association to Reservation or Property
- Note: Only job templates associated with reservations are currently supported.
4. Select Yes/No for the Job Type to automatically block the calendar.
Step 4: Click Save Job Type button
NOTE: If a job type is edited, it will update only the job type name in an existing job or job template.
Delete a Job Type
Step 1: Navigate to Operations > Cleaners & Mx > Automation > Job Types
Step 2: From the dropdown menu, select Delete Job Type
NOTE:
The job type will be deleted and removed from the list.
If a job type is currently tied to a job or job template it cannot be deleted.
